As a researcher, upcycling designer, workshop facilitator and stylist, I am constantly working towards creating sustainable design solutions to answer the growing problem of UK clothing and textile waste.
As an upcycling designer-maker my Trashed Couture Collection aims to show that eco fashion can be made stylish and accessible to all.
I also co-founded Stitched Up, Manchester's own sustainable fashion co-operative. The group now run regular clothes swaps and upcycling workshops from their shop in Chorlton.
As a researcher, I completed an MSc by Research in 2012 and continue my studies to PhD level at Manchester Metropolitan Univeristy.
‘Trashed Couture’ garments are currently available by personally contacting me to discuss an individual and unique piece, made especially for you.
